Micronutrients

J&F's Acinor 1000: Maximum Efficiency with Minimal Dosage

Acinor 1000 is a powerful micronutrient solution designed to enhance the efficiency of biogas plants. For a 1 MW plant, only 0.8 liters of Acinor 1000 are required per day, delivering maximum performance with minimal input.

Dr. Friedmann, co-founder of J&F Biogas, began experimenting with micronutrients in 1989 during research on anaerobic digestion of wastewater from the baker's yeast industry. It was discovered that micronutrients must be “visible” to methane bacteria to optimize digestion and boost methane production.

By 2006 and 2007, the importance of micronutrients was recognized in agricultural biogas plants. Initially, dry fermentation plants faced biological challenges using silage as a substrate, but these were easily addressed with the right micronutrient formulations. Today, micronutrients are integral to modern biogas plants, even for systems using liquid manure.

Acinor 1000 delivers micronutrients in a bioavailable form, ensuring optimal digestion and improving plant efficiency. Its minimal dosage helps reduce costs while maximizing methane production. This formulation is ideal for all biogas plants, including those with challenging feedstocks.

Key Benefits:

  • Minimal Dosage, Maximum Effect: Only 0.8 liters per day for a 1 MW plant.
  • Optimized Bioavailability: Ensures maximum nutrient uptake.
  • Proven Efficiency: Boosts methane production and reduces costs.
  • Versatile: Effective for all substrates, including liquid manure.
